OTHER NOTES:
"Alla Prima" is an artist's phrase, which means "to have your materials ready". As any woman knows, you must have your materials and canvas ready before painting - that's where SFMOMA's Alla Prima comes in.
The inspiration for this look comes from the SFMOMA's interior space - their beautiful black and gray granite striped staircase.
